Innovation, Hacking, Free and Open Source: Think Different at the Museum of Science Boston

On 2/7/2013 I organized an event with Emily Flaherty at the Museum of Science Boston as part of a high school lecture series. This event brought together some of the best computer engineers from the Boston area to engage high school students and educate them about FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) and the current tools that are being used in startup companies all over the world. Hundreds of students participated in the one day event. A game broadcast over a special wifi address challenged participants on their knowledge of the concepts covered during the day and the winners received donated desktop and Raspberry Pi computers.
