Abstract: We will talk about the basics of the R programming language. In R, vectors and matrices are primitive variables and plotting data is very easy. The talk will go over the language basics and by the end you should have a good idea of how to visualize data and generate plots. We will get up to MDS/Sammon mapping as well as density maps.
